BUZZ Player supports not only multiple types of audio/video (from the files native supported by iOS to other famous types such as avi, mkv, rmvb, wmv...) but also the alternating subtitles (closed caption) and audio tracks.
This feature is available for:

BUZZ Player supports various network protocols. It is no need to copy files to your device, just connect to your computer or NAS and play. Supported protocols are : http, samba, afp, ftp, UPnP, webdav, mms, rtmp, rmtp, rtsp...
Support streaming video:
You can play streaming video by BUZZ Player: .mp3, .wav, .ac3, .aif, .adts, .aiff, .aifc, .caf, .au, .m4a, .snd, .sd2.
All external subtitle files with extensions: .srt, .sub, .msi, .ass, .ssa.
Embedded subtitles: embedded subtitles on embedded videos such as mkv.
Display Video on External Screen
BUZZ Player detects external display automatically and display video on it, just connect external display to cable to view your movies on external screen.
If you want to change display resolution on the external display, please do the following steps:
Connect external display to your device (iPhone, iPod, iPad).
Tap on "Settings" button on the main screen, then choose "Media Playback Settings".
Tap on "External Display Resolution" to choose desired value.
If you want to display video on the external display in mirror mode, please do the following steps:
Tap on "Settings" button on the main screen, then choose "Media Playback Settings".
Change value of "Mirror on External Display" to ON. (Default is OFF)
AirPlay/Stream audio/video files to Apple TV
To air play audio/video files:
Turn on your Apple TV.
Connect Apple TV and your iPad to same local network.
Launch BUZZ Player.
Play supported audio/video files and the AirPlay icon will appear beside the volume button.
Tap AirPlay icon and select Apple TV to play.
Note: If you can't see video on the AppleTV, that means current video format is not supported by AppleTV natively (not QuickTime or mp4 format). In this case, you should turn on "mirror" mode of AirPlay on your device.
On iOS6 and below, double tap on Home button, on iOS7 swipe screen from bottom to top. You will see AirPlay icon.

Tap on AirPlay button and choose "Apple TV" and also change "Mirroring" to ON. Note: Mirroring mode only available from iPhone4S and iPad2.

Now you can launch BUZZ Player and view your video on AppleTV.
Note: AirPlay is compatible only with the second-generation and above Apple TV.
Play streaming audio/video files from network
To open streaming audio/video from external link:
Open the document that contain the link (web page or email...), tap on the link.
BUZZ Player will be called automatically to play that link.
If BUZZ Player is not called, please check the link is valid link or not.
Open the "Web Browser" screen by tap on "Web Browser" barbutton on the main screen. Web Browser screen will be displayed.
Launch BUZZ Player.
On the "Web Browser" screen, tap on the address textfield and enter address then press Go key on the keyboard. Media Playback feature will be called.
Control Playback screen by using Gesture
You can control playback screen by using gesture as follows:
Play/Pause: touch with two fingers on the playback screen.
Fast Forward/Backward: swipe with one finger to right/left on bottom of the playback screen.
Play Next/Previous File: swipe with one finger to right/left on top of the playback screen.
Increase/Decrease Playback Speed: swipe with one finger to right/left on middle of the playback screen.
Increase/Descrease Volume: swipe with one finger up/down on the right side of the playback screen.
Make Volume Max/Min: swipe with two fingers up/down on the right side of the playback screen.
Increase/Descrease Brightness: swipe with one finger up/down on the left side of the playback screen.
Make Brightness Max/Min: swipe with two fingers up/down on the left side of the playback screen.
Change Video Size: pinch with two fingers to toggle video size between Aspect Fit and Aspect Fill.
Enable/Disable Gesture: touch with three fingers on the playback screen.
Note: You can also enable/disable Gesture feature by turning the setting "Control by Gesture" to On/Off value.
Change Video Aspect Ratio
To change aspect ratio of playing video:
Touch aspect ratio button on the bottom toolbar to display "Choose an aspect ratio" menu.
Select an aspect ratio from the list (Default; 1:1; 4:3; 16:9) then the video will be displayed with new aspect ratio.
Note: Aspect ratio affects to current playing video; but this value doesn't affect other videos or when you play this video later. The default aspect ratio is the origin aspect ratio of each video file.
Boost Audio Volume
With some audio/video files, you can't hear the audio clearly although you've made audio volume to max value. Please do the following steps to boost the audio volume:
On the "Media Player" screen, tap on Info button. You will see the info screen.
On the Info screen, tap on Audio segment to open Audio information. You will see the "Sound Boost" slider. Adjust slider to desired volume. If no "Sound Boost" slider, you will need to change the "Playback Settings". Please refer to the step 3.
Change "Playback Settings" to use "Sound Boost" feature.
From Media Player screen, tap on Stop button to stop playback.
Tap on Settings button on the toolbar of main screen. Settings screen will be displayed. Choose the "Media Playback Settings" and change "Preferfed Video Decoder" to "Custom H/W Decoder".
Now you can open your movie/audio again and repeat to step 1. Note: If you don't need to use "Sound Boost" feature anymore, you should to change "Preferfed Video Decoder" back to "System H/W Decoder".
Display subtitle of video file exactly
To display subtitle of video file exactly:
Prepare video file for displaying subtitle:
If the video file has external subtitle: Ensure that the video file and subtitle file (.srt, .sub, ...) are in a same folder and the subtitle file's name has prefix same as the video file's name. Ex: the video file's name is My Movie.avi, subtitle file's name must be: My Movie.srt, or My Moviexxxxx.srt....
If the video file has embedded subtitle: Ensure that the embedded video can display subtitle.
If video file has external subtitle: Select appropriate Subtitle Files on Subtitle popup window of playback screen. Note that this setting is only available on playback screen. So you only can select it while playing the video.
If the video file has embedded subtitle: Select appropriate Subtitle Stream Index on Video & Audio files View Settings of Settings popup window of main screen. Note that this setting is only available on main screen. So you have to select Subtitle Stream Index before playing the embedded video.
Normal (default value): stop playing list after playing completely the last file on the list.
Repeat Album: Replay from first file after playing completely the last file on the list.
Repeat One Item: Replay only one file.
To change Preferfed Video Decoder:
On Playback Settings screen, tap Preferfed Video Decoder and select an decoder from list. BUZZ Player will try to use the selected decoder to decode audio/video first, if not success, it try to use other decoders. There are 3 types of decoder: System H/W Decoder, Custom H/W Decoder and Custom S/W Decoder.
System H/W Decoder (default value): With this setting, BUZZ Player will try to use iOS system hardware decoder to decode your media first. If it can't use iOS system hardware decoder, BUZZ Player will try to use Custom H/W Decoder then Custom S/W Decoder. Generally, iOS system hardware decoder can be used incase of you are playing iOS native supported media file types: mp4, mov, mpv, m4a, mp3, caf, wav...
Custom H/W Decoder: With this setting, BUZZ Player will try to use our custom hardware decoder to decode your media first. If it can't use our custom hardware decoder, BUZZ Player will try to use Custom S/W Decoder. Generally, our custom hardware decoder can be used incase of you are playing all supported audio files and H264 video files (mp4, m4v, mpv, mkv (h264), avi (h264)).
Custom S/W Decoder: With this setting, BUZZ Player will use our custom software decoder to decode your media. Generally, our custom software decoder can be used with all types of audio & video.
Note: Custom H/W Decoder and Custom S/W Decoder requires alot of CPU time, and it makes battery reduce faster. So, be sure that you switch to use Custom H/W Decoder and Custom S/W Decoder only incase of neccessary and switch back to use System H/W Decoder after using.
Default (0) (default value): Play the first audio/video/subtitle stream of video file.
1 to 10: play other audio/video/subtitle stream of video file.
Note:
This setting allows you to select audio track/subtitle/video of specific language you want when the audio/video file is embedded multiple audio/video/subtitle.
Remember to reset this setting to default values after finishing playing to play other video correctly.
Turn ON/OFF Display Subtitle setting
To turn ON/OFF Display Subtitle setting:
On Settings popup window of main screen, tap Video & Audio files view settings then turn ON/OFF Display Subtitle setting on Subtitles section.
On Subtitles popup window of playback screen, turn ON/OFF Display Subtitle.
Change Text Encoding setting of Subtitle appearance
Select an encoding in Recent Used Encodings list or All Encodings list.
Or type the text on search field to filter encodings then you can select quickly the one you need.
Note:
Select Auto Detect value to display most subtitle languages correctly.
If Auto Detect value doesn't provide correct characters when displaying subtitle, please try other specific encoding. We suggest some text encoding for some special languages as follows:
To display some Western European languages including French, Spanish, Italian, Finnish, please select ISO Latin1 or Windows Latin1 text encoding.
To display Hebrew language, please select Windows Hebrew or other Hebrew text encodings.
The list of text encoding for some special languages will be updated with more helpful information. Let's share your successful text encoding for other languages via our support mail: support@bugunsoft.com so that we can update this list quickly.
Select in Recent Used Font list or All Fonts list.
Or type the text on search field to filter fonts then you can select quickly the one you need.
Note:
In the most cases, font name only affects the appearance of subtitle.
In some other cases, in some special languages, for instance, you need to set specific font name to display characters of subtitle exactly.
Change Timing Offset setting of Subtitle appearance
To change Timing Offset setting:
On Subtitle settings window, drag Timing Offset slider to justify the timing offset of subtitle with specific seconds. This setting is useful to solve problem of non-synchronizing between audio/video and subtitle.
