The classic backgammon rules are used in the game. Four game modes are available:
Single Player
Play against strong AI with 3 levels of difficulty.
Two Player
Use your device as a Backgammon board to play with people near you.
Common options for the Single and Two Player modes:
• Player has a turn when the dice are shown on the right side of the board.
• Dice are rolled automatically when doubling is not avaiilable.
• Match length may be 1,3,5,11,15.
• Doubling cube can be enabled/disabled when a new match starts.
• Crawford rule is applied when double cube is used.
• To double, resign or exit a game, use Menu button and select an action.
Play Online
Online mode allows to play over Internet with someone around the world.
• Game Center accounts are used to login.
• Online games are played over 1 point, i.e. one round game.
• There is no Doubling cube in the Online games.
• A player should make a turn during some period of time (about 30-40 seconds). Once in a game, when the timeout happens, the robot makes a move. Later the inactive player is removed from the table and the player loses the game.
• Penalty points are applied when a player leaves a game in progress.
Invite
Invite and play with a Game Center friend. Score in invite games is not saved and does not affect the Points of the player.
One tap movement is active by default. Tap the checker you want to move.
Important: If both numbers on the dice can be played, the left number will be played first. To change the order of numbers just tap the dice.
Changing the nickname
Apple Game Center accounts are used in the game. To make all account related changes, use general Settings of the iPhone/iPad, section Game Center.
The dice are rolled randomly and absolutely do not depend on the AI level, who is playing and other game conditions.
Two less known rules of the game:
These rules may force to play otherwise.
• If either number can be played but not both, the player must play the larger one.
• A player must use both numbers of a roll if this is legally possible (or all four numbers of a double).
If iCloud is enabled for the game, a player may continue a Single Player match on another device with the same Apple ID.
